What domains to avoid

Avoid domains names that are too long or that can be easily confused with other domains. Also do NOT use domains that is related to known trademarks. The worst thing you can do is to register a trademark (ex: Google-AdSense.com) and then contact Google to try and sell it to them. If you approach a company with the intention of selling them a domain name that infringes on one of their trademarks, you are basically admitting that you registered the domain name for that purpose. This is one of the easiest ways to lose a legal battle before it has even started. Best not to get involved in trademark disputes at all. Don't waste your time and money, find safer names.
